The Sacrifices of Our Martyrs Are a Source of Pride for the Nation; Their Blood Will Never Go in Vain, Says Tariq Saeed Marwat

PESHAWAR:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Special Assistant for Home and Tribal Affairs Tariq Saeed Marwat Attends Funeral Prayers of Martyrs of the Terrorist Attack in Tank, Offers Condolences to Bereaved Families and Visits Injured Personnel Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat, attended the funeral prayers of Police Constable Bilal Khan, Police Constable Tala Muhammad and Forest Guard Noor Azam, who embraced martyrdom in the cowardly terrorist attack on the Manjhi Khel Check Post in Tank on Thursday night.The funeral prayers were attended by Special Assistant Tariq Saeed Marwat, Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah, Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed, Additional Inspector General CTD Jawad Qamar, Regional Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan Ghulam Mubashir Mekan, Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Division, Deputy Commissioner Tank Jamshed Khan, District Police Officer Tank Abdul Samad Khan, officers of the district administration and police, security personnel, relatives of the martyrs and a large number of local elders. Floral wreaths were laid on the coffins of the martyrs, while a smartly turned-out police contingent presented a guard of honour with full state honours.Speaking on the occasion, Tariq Saeed Marwat said that the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defence of the nation and for the protection of the people are the pride of the entire nation. He said their supreme sacrifices would always be remembered and their blood would never go in vain. He added that the provincial government, in close coordination with all relevant institutions, is taking every possible measure to eliminate terrorism, maintain law and order and safeguard the lives and property of citizens.Expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the Special Assistant said that, under the directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, the provincial government would stand firmly by the families of the martyrs and ensure their welfare, financial assistance and every possible support. He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls, the speedy recovery of the injured personnel and lasting peace and stability in the country.Later, Tariq Saeed Marwat, accompanied by the Chief Secretary, the Inspector General of Police and other senior officials, visited the police personnel injured in the terrorist attack, including Constable Ismatullah, Constable Jaseem Khan, Constable Daud Khan and Constable Pir Ghulam. He paid tribute to their courage, determination and resilience, prayed for their early recovery and assured them that every possible measure would be taken to provide them with the best medical treatment, financial assistance and all necessary facilities.Reaffirming the provincial government's unwavering commitment, Tariq Saeed Marwat said that the government stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces, police and all law enforcement agencies. He said all available resources would continue to be utilized to eliminate the enemies of peace, bring the fight against terrorism to its logical conclusion and ensure lasting peace so that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can live in a secure and peaceful environment.
