Swabi:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,An Islamic Banking Awareness Seminar was held in the Auditorium of Bacha Khan Medical Complex-MTI Swabi in collaboration with the Bank of Khyber, BKMC Branch, in accordance with the directions of the State Bank of Pakistan. The seminar was attended by faculty members, hospital staff, students, and officials of the institution.The Hospital Director, BKMC-MTI Swabi, welcomed the delegation of the Bank of Khyber and appreciated its efforts to promote awareness of Islamic banking. He highlighted the importance of such informative sessions in enabling employees and students to understand Shariah-compliant financial products and services.The seminar commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Bahr-e-Karam, Branch Manager, Bank of Khyber, BKMC Branch.Mr. Abdul Aleem, Head of Shariah Compliance, Bank of Khyber, delivered the keynote address and briefed the participants on the principles, benefits, and practical applications of Islamic banking.Mr. Sami Ur Rehman, Area Manager, Bank of Khyber, Swabi Area, along with Mr. Jamal Orakzai, Regional Head, Bank of Khyber, Mardan Region, also addressed the participants and explained the various Islamic banking products, services, and financial facilities available to customers.The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which the speakers responded to the participants’ queries regarding Islamic finance and banking practices.The Management of BKMC-MTI Swabi appreciated the Bank of Khyber for organizing the informative seminar and expressed its commitment to supporting similar educational and awareness activities in the future.
