Secretary, Elementary and Secondary Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa launched the Multi-Grade Classroom Observation Tool (MG-COT) application in the Committee Room E&SED on July 22, 2026.

PESHAWAR:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The Secretary, Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, launched the Multigrade Classroom Observation Tool (MG-COT) Application on 22nd July, 2026 at committee room E&SED.Supported by the FCDO-funded B-TAG Project, the initiative trained more than 12,000 teachers, along with 70 ASDEOs and 126 School Leaders, in multigrade classroom observation, coaching and mentoring. The intervention was formally implemented in six districts and will now be scaled across the province.The intervention resulted in significant improvements across all 13 multigrade classroom practices. Treatment schools improved by 1.98 points, compared with 0.48 points in control schools approximately four times greater improvement with notable gains in lesson planning, classroom-space management, learning-objective alignment and flexible student grouping.
