Charsadda:(Special Correspondent) The newly appointed District Police Officer Charsadda, Rifatullah Khan (PSP), has formally assumed charge of his post. After assuming charge, DPO Rifatullah Khan (PSP) received a briefing on the overall law and order situation in the district, police performance and ongoing security measures. On this occasion, he said that protection of life and property of the people, indiscriminate enforcement of law, effective action against criminal elements and provision of best policing to the citizens would be his top priorities. He directed all police officers and youth to perform their duties with honesty, professionalism and people-friendly attitude so that the public’s trust in the police would be further strengthened. The newly appointed District Police Officer expressed his determination that all available resources would be utilized to establish law and order in Charsadda, prevent crime and provide a safe environment to the citizens. On this occasion, Global Times Media Europe Chief Executive Ikramuddin said in his congratulatory message that he congratulates Rifatullah Khan on being appointed District Police Officer Charsadda and expresses his best wishes for him. He added that Rifatullah Khan has held many important positions before and is an excellent and honest police officer. His services are commendable.
