Islamabad:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, Acting Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan Nasir has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the US government, Congress and people on the occasion of America’s Independence Day and expressed his best wishes. In his message, he said that national independence, the supremacy of the Constitution and the stability of democratic institutions are the basis for the development and prosperity of every nation. He expressed hope that the United States would continue to play a positive role in promoting peace, mutual respect and global cooperation. The Acting Chairman Senate said that Pakistan-US relations span decades and there is scope to further expand parliamentary ties, economic cooperation, scientific and technical collaboration and people-to-people contacts between the two countries. Syedal Khan Nasir expressed his determination that Pakistan is keen to further strengthen its relations with the United States on the basis of mutual trust, common interests and constructive dialogue so that progress, prosperity and new opportunities can be created for the people of both countries. He expressed his best wishes for peace, prosperity and continuous progress for the people of the United States and said that Pakistan will continue to play every possible constructive role for the promotion of mutual cooperation, global peace and sustainable stability.
