Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Attends Farewell Luncheon in Honour of Bulgarian Ambassador

ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, attended a farewell luncheon hosted by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, in honour of H.E. Irena Gancheva, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Pakistan.Chairman Senate appreciated Ambassador Gancheva's valuable contribution to strengthening Pakistan–Bulgaria relations and commended her efforts in promoting diplomatic, parliamentary, economic, trade, cultural, and people-to-people cooperation during her tenure. He extended his best wishes for her future endeavours and expressed confidence that the friendly relations between Pakistan and Bulgaria would continue to grow stronger.The luncheon was attended by State Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Muhammad Aoun Chaudhry, MNA Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani, ambassadors from various countries, and other distinguished guests.
On the sidelines of the event, Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi also discussed the country's political and economic situation, public welfare, Centre–province cooperation, and other matters of national importance.
