MARDAN:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Central Prison Mardan – A Model Center of Skill Development and Rehabilitation Under the leadership of Inspector General of Prisons, Rehan Khattak, Central Prison Mardan has evolved into an excellent center for teaching modern vocational skills to both male and female inmates, helping them become productive members of society.The prison produces high-quality shawls, fine shirt fabrics, and various handicraft items crafted by inmates. Thirty percent of the profit generated from the sale of these products is deposited directly into the inmates’ accounts. This initiative serves as an important step toward their personal rehabilitation, financial independence, and a better future.Under the leadership of Superintendent Sami Ullah Khan Shinwari, significant efforts have been made to expand these vocational opportunities for the benefit of society.
