Swabi:(Special Representative)The global times Europe media,The 23rd Hospital Executive Committee (HEC) meeting was held on 30 June 2026 under the chairmanship of Hospital Director Dr. Khalid Masud in the Committee Room at BKMC-MTI Swabi.

The meeting was attended by Director Finance, Administrative Officers, Heads of Departments and Associate Hospital Directors of Allied THQs Topi and Chota Lahor.During the meeting, progress on previously assigned tasks was reviewed, and concerned officers were directed to complete all pending assignments within stipulated timelines. Follow-up discussions were also held on agenda items related to CSSD, SCP, MIS, Quality Assurance and other departments, and necessary decisions were taken.In view of ongoing heatwave, progress on Heat Stroke Unit was reviewed. The forum was informed that Heat Stroke Unit has already been established and more than 20 heatstroke patients have been treated during recent heatwave.Patient satisfaction survey, patient waiting areas, drinking water facilities, enhancement of hospital bed capacity to 470 beds, Medical Record Department, and progress on Triage and Registration Counter were also discussed.The forum also decided that wearing helmets shall be made mandatory for BKMC staff using motorcycles, and concerned departments were directed to prepare an implementation plan.OPD Supervisor informed the forum that a dedicated OPD counter for persons with disabilities and senior citizens has been established, as highlighted during Online E-Khuli Kachehri.
