A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Rehan Gul Khattak regarding the under-construction District Jail Swabi.

In which DIG Hashmatullah, DIG Sahibzada Qaiser Khan, and Superintendent Sub Jail Swabi Ehsanuddin participated.

Peshawar:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, an important review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Inspector General Prisons Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rehan Gul Khattak regarding the under-construction District Jail Swabi. The meeting was attended by DIG (Finance and Planning) Hashmatullah, DIG Mardan Region Sahibzada Qaiser Khan, SDO (C&W) and Superintendent Sub Jail Swabi Ahsanuddin. During the meeting, a detailed review of the construction progress, problems faced and future action plan was taken. The concerned authorities briefed about the current status of the project and the remaining works. The Inspector General of Prisons directed to expedite the process of installation of express feeder/separate power line for early partial operationalisation of District Jail Swabi. He said that uninterrupted power supply is essential for making the basic departments of the jail functional. He also directed the Communication and Works Department (C&W) to complete the construction of external sewerage line and watch towers on priority basis so that there is no delay in the functioning of the jail. The Inspector General stressed that all construction works should be completed as per the prescribed standards and as per the stipulated timeline so that the District Jail Swabi equipped with modern facilities can be made functional as soon as possible.
