38th BASAR Meeting Held at Foundation University Islamabad Research Governance | Academic Excellence | Postgraduate Education

ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The 38th meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASAR), chaired by the Rector FUI, was held on 4 June 2026 in the FUSH Committee Room.During the meeting, members deliberated on various academic and research matters, including MS-level proposals, freezing of semesters, appointment of local external examiners, progress reports of PhD scholars, extension of PhD study duration, coursework requirements, and thesis registrations.The meeting served as an important forum for academic deliberation and decision-making, ensuring that postgraduate research activities remain aligned with institutional priorities, quality standards, and contemporary academic requirements.FUI remains committed to strengthening its research culture, promoting innovation, and maintaining high standards of postgraduate education and research excellence.Supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
