Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Addresses GIKI Convocation 2026.

ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani addressed the Annual Convocation of Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI), Topi, Swabi, as the Chief Guest on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Congratulating the graduating students, their parents, and faculty, the Chairman Senate emphasized that Pakistan's future depends on a generation equipped with knowledge, innovation, and the ability to solve real-world challenges. He stressed that universities must be judged by the quality of their research, innovation, and contribution to national development.
He highlighted the importance of investing in higher education, science, technology, engineering, and research, stating that Pakistan needs graduates who can create employment opportunities, promote innovation, and accelerate the country's progress.Chairman Senate also congratulated Pakistan's civil and military leadership for their role in promoting peace between the United States and Iran, expressing hope that such efforts would contribute to regional stability and global peace. He said Pakistan's commitment to dialogue and reconciliation reflects its identity as a peace-loving nation.
During the ceremony, Chairman Senate distributed degrees to graduating students and presented medals to outstanding achievers.
