Cristian Jardan: Moldova highly values contribution of Azerbaijani diaspora to development of cultural ties.

According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Moldova highly appreciates the contribution of the Azerbaijani diaspora to the development of cultural relations between the two countries, Moldova's Minister of Culture Cristian Jardan said during a meeting with an Azerbaijani delegation that arrived in Chișinău at the invitation of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Moldova.According to The global times Europe media, the meeting was attended by advisor to Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture Jahangir Salimkhanov, Chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Moldova Elchin Bayramov, Chairman of the Congress Council Ramil Adygezalov, as well as representatives of Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan, Tural Safarov and Tahmasib Atakishiyev.During the discussion, the sides reviewed prospects for further development of cultural cooperation between Moldova and Azerbaijan, exchanged views on the implementation of joint initiatives, and emphasized the importance of preserving and strengthening the friendly ties between the two peoples.Particular attention was paid to the role of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Moldova, which for many years has made a significant contribution to promoting intercultural dialogue and implementing projects aimed at bringing the two countries closer together.The participants noted that such contacts contribute to the expansion of humanitarian cooperation and serve as an important instrument of people-to-people diplomacy, strengthening mutual understanding between the societies of Moldova and Azerbaijan.The Azerbaijani delegation's visit to Chișinău took place as part of events dedicated to the memory of Muslim Magomayev, whose artistic legacy continues to unite people of different generations and cultures.
