Former provincial minister and member of provincial assembly Zahir Shah Toro visited Abdul Wali Khan University.

On this occasion, he reviewed the ongoing and under-construction development projects.

Mardan (Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, former provincial minister and member of assembly Tahir Shah Toro visited Abdul Wali Khan University, where he reviewed the ongoing and under-construction development projects. On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahir Shah, Director AURC Dr. Tariq Mahmood, Director CDC Dr. Bilal, Director Administration Farhad Safi were present. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Jamil Ahmed, while giving a detailed briefing, said that the university is currently providing more than two thousand scholarships to poor and needy students, while a modern squash court is in the final stages of completion where international standard coaches will provide training. He further said that the e-file system has been activated, while work is also underway on projects such as blackboard software, campus TV, FM radio, clean water supply, security zone and parking and will be completed as soon as possible. A major project is also being worked on on 350 kanals of land in Jalozai, while the inauguration of a modern Business and Incubation Center is also expected soon. On this occasion, Zahir Shah Toro appreciated the development progress of the university and also assured the commencement of work on the university auditorium. He said that the provincial government is taking all possible steps for the improvement of educational institutions and assured to complete all the incomplete projects as soon as possible.
