Transparent distribution of police welfare fund, ceremony held under the chairmanship of DPO Dir Bala Aslam Nawaz.

Dir Bala: (Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, a grand ceremony was held under the chairmanship of District Police Officer Dir Bala Aslam Nawaz (PSP) at the DPO office regarding the transparent distribution of police welfare funds. The ceremony was attended by SP Investigation Muhammad Ilyas Khan, DSP Headquarters Shah Faisal Khan, SDPO Circle Dir Musharraf Khan and other police officers and police personnel suffering from cancer and other diseases. The ceremony was organized in the light of the vision and orders of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed, Regional Police Officer Malakand Syed Fida Hassan Shah and DIG Welfare. During the ceremony, cross checks of welfare funds worth a total of Rs 6.3 million were distributed among more than 170 police personnel and their families.  These include Rs 37.6 million for medical aid, Rs 18.5 million for scholarships and Rs 690,000 for CP Child. DPO Upper Dir Aslam Nawaz said on the occasion that the welfare of the police force is the top priority and action is being taken on all welfare applications on a weekly basis so that timely assistance can be provided to the deserving ones. He expressed his resolve that all possible facilities for education, health and other basic needs will continue to be provided to the police personnel in a transparent manner.
