Swabi:(Special Correspondent)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,World Emergency Medicine Day 2026 was observed at the BKMC-MTI Auditorium Hall, where emergency staff from various departments participated enthusiastically. This year’s theme, “Safe Space for Emergency Medicine,” highlighted the importance of creating a secure and supportive environment for emergency healthcare services.An awareness walk was also organized, starting from the New Emergency Department and concluding at the Auditorium Hall to mark the significance of the day and raise awareness about emergency medicine.To acknowledge the dedication, commitment, and passion of emergency staff, all personnel including janitorial staff, porters, supporting staff, nurses, security personnel, paramedics, and other emergency department workers were recognized for their valuable services. A cake-cutting ceremony was also held to celebrate the occasion, and appreciation certificates were distributed among the emergency staff.The event was attended by the Hospital Director, Medical Director, Incharge Emergency, Manager Emergency, and other administrative officers, who appreciated the tireless 24/7 efforts of the emergency staff in serving humanity.
