ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,As part of an ongoing effort to support adolescent well-being, UNICEF, with support from the School of Leadership Foundation, recently piloted Nutrition Boot Camps for out-of-school adolescent girls in the outskirts of Islamabad. The sessions created safe spaces for girls to learn about nutrition, hygiene, exercise, menstrual health, and anemia prevention through weekly iron and folic acid supplementation, all through practical, hands-on activities.From building healthy plates to learning essential self-care practices, the boot camps encouraged everyday habits that girls can carry into their daily lives and communities. Following these initial pilots, more sessions are planned across Punjab before expanding to other provinces.
