Under his leadership, the nationwide establishment of Daanish Schools — a flagship initiative of the Prime Minister — is being executed to provide state-of-the-art educational facilities and opportunities to talented yet underprivileged students in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Islamabad.A landmark achievement under his stewardship includes the operationalisation of Daanish School Islamabad in record time, setting a benchmark for efficient public sector project implementation.Mr. Mahbub has also rendered valuable services towards inclusive and equitable education through initiatives focused on special education, and non-formal education as well as initiatives focused on students welfare such as remedial therapy services, career counselling services and socio-emotional learning in all public schools in Islamabad.The award reflects national recognition of his, dedication to educational excellence, and commitment to building a progressive and inclusive Pakistan.
