The efforts of Member of National Assembly Syed Ali Qasim Gilani have borne fruit.

An important bill has been presented regarding the complete eradication of polio and the rehabilitation of polio-affected people.

Islamabad:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, the efforts of Pakistan Peoples Party Member of National Assembly Syed Ali Qasim Gilani have borne fruit. An important bill has been presented in the National Assembly regarding the complete eradication of polio, making polio vaccination mandatory, effective disease surveillance, protection of frontline health workers and rehabilitation of polio-affected people. This bill was jointly presented by Members of National Assembly Syed Ali Qasim Gilani, Syed Waseem Hussain, Shaista Khan, Arshad Abdullah, Shazia Subia Aslam Soomro, Farhan Chishti and Amjad Ali Khan, which was unanimously approved by the House. The bill aims to make polio eradication efforts across the country more effective, protect children from the deadly disease and provide legal and practical protection to frontline workers serving in the health sector.
