ITALY:(International Desk) According to a foreign news agency, Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas for Italy Ikramuddin has said in his special message on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir that Pakistan is a responsible, peaceful and strong nuclear state that will never compromise on its defense and national security. The day of May 28 has extraordinary importance in the country's history and it is remembered as a symbol of Pakistan's invincible defense. He said in his message that on May 28, 1998, Pakistan not only demonstrated its defense capability by conducting a successful nuclear explosion, but the country also gained strategic autonomy on that day. Pakistan's nuclear program was launched under the requirements of national security so that the country's defense could be made invincible. He said that the entire nation should train its scientists, engineers and armed forces.  Pays tribute to those who played a historic role in strengthening the country's defense in extremely difficult circumstances. Despite global pressure, economic sanctions and external opposition, Pakistan ensured the protection of national interest and sovereignty. He added that may Allah Almighty always keep Pakistan stable and permanent. It should be noted that after the nuclear explosions by India, Pakistan conducted successful nuclear explosions in the Chagai area of ​​Balochistan on May 28, 1998. After this historic success, May 28 is celebrated every year across the country as "Yum-e-Takbir" to pay tribute to Pakistan's defense resolve, national sovereignty and scientific achievements.
