A key focus of the discussion was empowering students to start earning soon after completing their first semester, so education becomes directly linked with opportunity, dignity, and economic independence.The Chairman of HEC showed strong interest in the idea of developing a 4-week course that can enable students to work online and earn from global markets. He also emphasized the need to make teaching more effective so that university graduates are better prepared to secure quality jobs and also build their own entrepreneurial journeys.It was especially encouraging to see his strong interest in expanding quality education to the underprivileged areas of Pakistan, where access and opportunity must improve if the country is to move forward. Pakistan needs an education model that does not only award degrees, but also builds capability, confidence, employability, and entrepreneurship.
