Peshawar:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, Vice Chancellor of the University of Agriculture Peshawar, Professor Dr. Sarzamin Khan, made a detailed visit to various teaching, research and administrative departments of the university. The purpose of this visit was to review the ongoing academic and administrative affairs of the university, inspect the facilities and issue necessary instructions to further improve its performance. During the visit, the Vice Chancellor visited the Department of Weed Science and Botany, Plant Science Building, Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, under-construction canteen, Department of Water Resource Management, Agricultural and Applied Economics, IBMS and Agriculture Accounts, Technology Development Center, OREC, Financial Aid, Department of English, Department of Islamic Studies and Pakistan Studies, Directorate of Finance, Department of Food Science and Technology, Institute of Business Management and Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technology. He carefully reviewed the teaching process, research activities, facilities provided to students, cleanliness, and ongoing development projects in each department.  During the inspection of the under-construction canteen, he directed to speed up the work and ensure the provision of quality facilities so that students and staff can have a better environment. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor, while talking to the heads of departments and relevant staff, stressed that all employees should ensure punctuality, further improve the teaching quality, promote the co-curricular activities of students, align research work with practical needs, and provide a conducive, safe and modern educational environment for students. He said that the development of the university is possible with the joint efforts of its teachers, staff and students, so everyone must fulfill their responsibilities with honesty and dedication. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Crop Production Sciences Prof. Dr. Humayun Khan, Dean Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Dean Faculty of Rural Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Zafarullah Khan Marwat, Chairman Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics Prof. Dr. Mehr Ali Shah, Registrar Dr. Rizwan Ahmed, Chief  Proctor Dr. Bashir Ahmed, Director Administration Dr. Shoaib Sultan, Dr. Majid Khan, Dr. Rafiullah, Dr. Muhammad Saeed, Director Works Engineer Zarif Khan, Provost Muhammad Naeem Khan and other administrative officers were also present. At the end of the visit, the Vice Chancellor expressed satisfaction and said that all possible steps will be taken to make the university a modern, quality and research-based institution and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
