Seven-day special awareness campaign on immunization continues.

Bannu:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,A seven-day special awareness campaign on immunization is underway in Bannu with the support of CHIP Organization.

Under the joint efforts of the Health Department and CHIP Organization, awareness activities are being carried out in various areas to ensure access to every child.District Health Officer Dr. Zafar Iqbal Wazir, Dr. Wahab Khan, and Tahir Rasheed Marwat urged parents to actively participate in the free vaccination campaign launched by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department. They emphasized that parents should not only vaccinate their own children but also encourage others in their community to do the same and support the government’s efforts.

They further stated that immunization is extremely important for the health and secure future of children. Through these vaccines, effective protection can be achieved against measles, tuberculosis (TB), pneumonia, and other dangerous diseases.

They added that timely vaccination not only protects children from life-threatening diseases but also plays a vital role in building a healthy and strong society. This immunization program is being provided completely free of cost by the government so that people from all walks of life can benefit.In its message, the Health Department urged parents to avoid rumors and misconceptions and to rely on authentic medical information. They stated that vaccines are safe, effective, and globally recognized methods that have saved millions of children's lives.

CHIP Organization reaffirmed its commitment to raising public awareness through such campaigns so that every child can be protected from deadly diseases and a healthy society can be established.
