MNA Asif Khan’s detailed visit to Government City Girls College Gulbahar.

On this occasion, he met with Principal Professor Rabia Sikandar.

Peshawar:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, MNA Asif Khan visited Government City Girls College Gulbahar, Peshawar. Principal Professor Rabia Sikandar informed about the problems faced by the college during the meeting. Principal Rabia Sikandar said that the restoration of the basic infrastructure of the institution is essential for the better future of the female students. She pointed out that the dilapidated walls of the college, water entering the classrooms from the drains, leakage of the roofs and broken floors are becoming a daily obstacle in the teaching process. Principal Rabia Sikandar further said that there is a severe shortage of clerical staff due to non-approval of SNE since 2014.  Power crisis has become a regular occurrence due to the repeated breakdown of the old 200 KV transformer. He clarified that a new admin building for administrative matters, elimination of Sui gas leakage and a new 100 KV transformer are the need of the hour. To solve these problems, MNA Asif Khan assured that immediate steps would be taken for a new water filtration project, expansion of the solar system, provision of sports facilities and transfer of the vacant plot adjacent to the college to the college. It is the collective responsibility of all of us to secure the educational future of our daughters. Immediate solution to these problems is the guarantee of the development of the nation.
