The seventy-fifth meeting of the Directorate of Higher Education and Research (GRMC) of the Federal Urdu University.
In the seventy-fifth meeting held, two students were awarded PhD and sixteen students were awarded MPhil degrees.
ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The 75th meeting of the Graduate Research Management Council (GRMC) of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology was held on April 7, 2026. In this meeting, PhD degrees were awarded to two (02) students, while MPhil degrees were conferred upon sixteen (16) students.The 75th meeting of the Graduate Research Management Council (GRMC) of the Federal Urdu University was held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman Hall, MSC Block, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus, Karachi, under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Muhammad Zahid, Dean Faculty of Science; Professor Dr. Masood Mashkoor Siddiqui, Dean Faculty of Business Administration, Commerce & Economics; Professor Dr. Abdul Majeed Khan, Department of Chemistry; Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali Versiani, Department of Chemistry / Director GRMC; Dr. Saima Faraz, Department of Microbiology; Dr. Abdul Rehman Yousuf Khan, Department of Arabic; Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Sani, Incharge Faculty of Islamic & Arabic Studies; Dr. Lubna Bashir, Incharge Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Shahid Iqbal, Incharge Faculty of Arts; and Dr. Kamal Haider, Incharge Faculty of Education. Dr. Syed Shabbir Raza, Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), attended as an observer. Dr. Muhammad Tariq Mahmood, Department of Economics, and Dr. Rahatullah, Incharge Faculty of Electrical Engineering (Islamabad Campus), participated online. Professor Dr. Syed Inayat Ali Shah performed duties as Registrar/Secretary.
During the meeting, PhD degrees were awarded to Muhammad Anas Khan son of Khushhal Ahmed Khan in International Relations, and to Ubaid Khaliq son of Abdul Khaliq in Chemistry.MPhil degrees were awarded to Tanveer Hussain son of Lal Mast Khan and Muhammad Abdul Hannan son of Javed Iqbal in Chemistry; Aroosa Afzal daughter of Afzal Ahmed in Physics; Naila Patras daughter of Patras in Political Science; Pervez Akhtar son of Akhtar Hussain in Education; Fasiha Rafiq daughter of Muhammad Rafiq, Muhammad Sharif Khan son of Muhammad Hayat Khan, and Neelofar daughter of Imtiaz Ali in International Relations; Kaleemullah son of Attaullah in Arabic; Iram Badr daughter of Muhammad Hanif Badr in Urdu; Abdul Rehman son of Muhammad Talib, Muhammad Kashif son of Muhammad Ayub, Muhammad Tayyab Javed son of Muhammad Javed, and Mirman Wajeeh Alam daughter of Nasrullah Khan in Applied Physics (Islamabad Campus); and Sundas Irshad daughter of Muhammad Irshad and Sana Masood daughter of Masood Akhtar in Urdu (Islamabad Campus).
