IIUI Appoints New Provosts for Male and Female Hostels; President Appreciates Outgoing Provosts

Islamabad:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has appointed new Provosts for its male and female hostels. The President, IIUI, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, has appointed Mr. Muti ur Rehman, Teaching/Research Associate, Faculty of Arabic, as Provost (Men’s Hostels). In a separate notification, Dr. Nasreen Akhtar, Assistant Professor, Department of Politics & International Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences, has been appointed as Provost (Women’s Hostels). Both appointments have been made with immediate effect and until further orders.Consequent upon these appointments, Dr. Muhammad Ibrar Shinwari, Associate Professor (CIRBS), Faculty of Sciences, and Dr. Sajida M. Jamil, Assistant Professor (Islamic Studies), Faculty of Usuluddin, have been relieved of their responsibilities as Provosts of the respective hostels.The President appreciated the sincere efforts and valuable contributions of the outgoing Provosts, Dr. Muhammad Ibrar Shinwari and Dr. Sajida M. Jamil, and recognized the appreciable role they played in managing the affairs of the hostels. He also extended his best wishes to them for their future endeavors.The President expressed confidence that the newly appointed Provosts will carry forward their responsibilities with dedication and further enhance the residential experience of students through effective and responsive administration.
