A major International Investment Strategic Partnership Conference was organized by the IOEC.

The conference was held on the instructions of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif.

Islamabad:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,An important International Investment Strategic Partnership Conference organized by the International Overseas Economic Corridor (IOEC) was held at the Marriott Hotel Islamabad. The objective of this conference was to further increase Chinese investment in Pakistan, take Pak-China friendship to new heights and promote large-scale joint projects in various sectors. The conference was held on the instructions of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. The Chinese delegation was warmly welcomed. The Chinese delegation was led by Mr. Dong Wei, which consisted of top 10 Chinese investors. Other members of the delegation included Mr. Wang Lixin, Mr. Dang Xin, Mr. Guozhu Wei and Mr. Dong Xingyan. Upon the arrival of the delegation in Pakistan, the entire IOEC organization, headed by Chairman International Overseas Economic Corridor Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa Ansari, gave them a warm and enthusiastic welcome. Chairman IOEC Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa Ansari* said in his address that the visit of the Chinese delegation to Pakistan under the leadership of IOEC and the commitment to large-scale investment will give a new dimension to Pak-China economic cooperation. IOEC is going to be the guarantor of Pakistan’s development and prosperity. In the coming days, Pakistan will be seen moving forward rapidly on the path of development. He thanked the head of the Chinese delegation, Mr. Dong Wei, and all the members and especially thanked them for the agreements, signing and exchange of files on various projects. The Chairman appreciated the efforts of Parliamentary Secretary Engineer Gul Asghar Khan, Sikandar Ali (CEO Sino Group) and all the office bearers and members of IOEC and said that the success of this International Investment Strategic Partnership Conference is actually the success of Pakistan. This conference will prove to be an important step towards attracting foreign investment, especially Chinese investment, in Pakistan, creating new opportunities in minerals, smart cities, artificial intelligence, health, agriculture and other important sectors.
