Glasgow:(International Desk)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The 86th National Day of Pakistan was commemorated in Glasgow with great enthusiasm and national spirit. The ceremony began with Consul General Summar Javed hoisting the National Flag as the National Anthem echoed with pride. Special prayers were offered for global peace and Pakistan, followed by the reading of messages from the President, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister.The event was honoured by the presence of Minister Kaukab Stewart, along with several distinguished guests, including Under parliamentary secretary for health Dr Zubir Ahmed MP, former MP Alison Thewlis, Bailie Hanif Raja, Bailie Norman McLeod, local councillors, members of the business community, and a large gathering of the Pakistani diaspora and friends of Pakistan, all coming together in a spirit of unity and solidarity.It was truly a memorable occasion celebrating our rich heritage while reinforcing the strong bonds within our community abroad.
