National Peace Jirga delegation meets with Iranian Consul General.

Peshawar:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,A high-level delegation of the National Peace Jirga Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, led by Maulana Muhammad Iqbal Shah Haidari (Chairman of the National Peace Jirga KP and Patron of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Peshawar City), met with the Iranian Consul General, Ali Banafshehkhah, at the Iranian Consulate.
The delegation expressed heartfelt condolences to Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian leadership, and the Iranian people. Members of the delegation included Provincial Vice Chairman Haji Tariq Afridi, District Peshawar Chairman Haji Zahir Shah, Peshawar City Chairman Liaqat Khan Mohmand, District Deputy General Secretary Maulana Baharullah, Provincial Leader Sahibzada Khalid Jan, Peshawar City Deputy General Secretary Bilal Khan, and Mufti Kafil.
Key Highlights of the Meeting:
• Regional Concerns: The delegation expressed deep concern and grief over recent events in Iran and attacks involving the U.S. and Israel, labeling them a grave threat to global peace and stability.
• Human Rights Challenges: They highlighted the ongoing aggression in the Middle East and Arab nations—including Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Libya—as a significant challenge to human rights and sovereignty.
• The Palestinian Crisis: The delegation cited Palestine as a tragic example where thousands of innocent children have been martyred while international human rights organizations remain silent.
• Call for Unity: The Jirga emphasized that Muslim rulers must form a united and effective front against the U.S., Israel, and their allies. They warned that without a shared stance, the independence of Islamic nations in the Middle East and South Asia remains in jeopardy.
• Support for Leadership: The statement affirmed that the Pakistani nation stands in solidarity with oppressed Muslim nations. It specifically lauded the role of Maulana Fazlur Rehman as an internationally respected leader whose consistent and energetic voice for the rights of Muslims serves as a symbol of hope and sympathy for the oppressed.
