Islamabad:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, Focal Person Prime Minister Youth Program Dr. Rubina Awan said that in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Holy Quran, women have been given a great status as mothers, daughters, sisters and wives. She said that Islam gives women the right to respect, protection, inheritance, education and social respect. Therefore, the real success lies in adopting the pure principles given by Islam and maintaining the honor and dignity of women. In an interview with Global Times Media Europe on International Women's Day, Dr. Rubina Awan, Focal Person of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, said that International Women's Day is a day of recognition of the struggle, services and outstanding achievements of women around the world. This day not only provides an opportunity to pay tribute to their achievements but also makes us realize our responsibilities with a collective conscience. She said that March 8 is a day to recognize the courage, perseverance of women and girls and their important role in building the country and society. It reminds us that providing equality, dignity and fundamental rights for all women is a common responsibility of all of us. Dr. Rubina Awan further said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and Maryam Nawaz are role models for women.
