The great virtues and blessings of Ramadan Sharif are mentioned in the hadiths and monuments. According to the hadiths, the three ten days of Ramadan have three different characteristics and each one has a special color. It is narrated from Hazrat Salman Farsi (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: The first ten days of Ramadan are of mercy, the second ten days of forgiveness and the third ten days of freedom from Hell. He said that although the entire month of Ramadan holds a distinguished and special place among other months, the virtues of the last ten days (the last ten days) of Ramadan are even more. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to devote himself more to worship and obedience, night vigils, remembrance and contemplation during the last ten days of Ramadan.
