With this objective, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in collaboration with Ministry of Law and Justice and National Police Bureau with support from UK International Development, convened a Technical Workshop on Dashboard Alignment and Performance Metrics for the National Sex Offenders Register (NSOR) in Karachi The two-day workshop, from 11-12 February 2026, brought together technical and operational stakeholders from Sindh and Balochistan to review how NSOR data can be translated into practical dashboards, performance indicators, and early-warning insights. Participants examined current data flows, access logs, and audit trails, and worked collaboratively to define analytics that support operational oversight, compliance monitoring, and timely decision-making.Discussions focused on aligning dashboards with institutional roles, strengthening data quality, and identifying key indicators for real-time and periodic reporting. The workshop also explored how alerts, notifications, and visual trends can help institutions track system use, flag risks, and improve accountability, while maintaining strong data protection and survivor-sensitive safeguards.By strengthening the analytical foundations of the NSOR, the initiative supports more consistent use of data across institutions and enhances the ability of authorities to act quickly, responsibly, and in the interest of public safety.
