Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam visited the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation.
Islamabad:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Engr. Amir Muqam, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan, visited the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation and held a meeting with Syed Qamar Raza, Chairman, Board of Governors, OPF.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on matters pertaining to the welfare and facilitation of overseas Pakistanis, particularly those hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) who are working abroad. Various initiatives aimed at improving support services, protection of rights, and enhanced engagement with the diaspora were deliberated.The Federal Minister appreciated the efforts of OPF under the leadership of the Chairman and emphasized the Government’s commitment to addressing the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis and strengthening institutional coordination for their welfare.He also congratulated the Chairman on the successful organization of the Overseas Kashmiris Convention recently held at Muzaffarabad, acknowledging it as a significant step towards fostering closer ties with the Kashmiri diaspora and recognizing their valuable contributions to the country.
